Social Media Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive business growth across various platforms. You will be the voice of the brand on social media, creating compelling content, managing social media accounts, and leveraging analytics to optimize client digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies: Create, plan, and execute effective social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals and enhance brand awareness.
- Content Creation and Curation: Design and produce engaging and original content, including text, images, videos, and infographics tailored for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Social Media Account Management: Manage day-to-day activities across all social media channels, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Community Engagement: Foster and grow online communities by engaging with followers, responding to questions, and encouraging user-generated content to build brand loyalty.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, monitor performance, and optimize to meet campaign objectives (e.g., conversions, engagement, reach).
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., likes, shares, reach, impressions, and follower growth), and prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Brand Voice and Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and style guidelines while maintaining a consistent presence across all platforms.
- Trend Monitoring and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media best practices to keep the brand relevant and innovative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, content creators, and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and maintain cohesive messaging.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2-5 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably within a fast-paced or agency environment.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Experience with social media advertising, including Facebook Ads Manager, and a strong understanding of paid media strategies.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Socialbakers, Sprinklr) to inform decisions.
- Creative thinking with a knack for crafting engaging and shareable content.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in influencer marketing, content creation, or graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing.
- Certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing are a plus.
