About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand’s vision and objectives. This role involves working on a wide range of projects, including promotional videos, social media content, commercials, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, compelling content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, video concepts, and editing requirements.
- Enhance videos with graphics, effects, sound, and music to create engaging visual content.
- Review and select the best footage, ensuring the narrative flows smoothly and meets creative and technical standards.
- Color correct and grade footage to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all videos.
- Organize and manage digital assets, maintaining an efficient workflow and adhering to file management protocols.
- Assist with scriptwriting, storyboarding, and concept development as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and software updates to continually improve video quality.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality output.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows.
- Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Experience with software like FinalCut Pro, Capcut, etc.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing software.
- Familiarity with color grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge of visual effects and compositing techniques.
